JACG CC was established as Gasjac on 1 September 2001 as a Sole Proprietary business, by Jannie Cremer (Senior), and starting out as a gas reticulation installation firm. Gasjac also did repairs to appliances on a very small scale, building experience along the way.

We got the agency from BSH, the suppliers of Bosch, Siemens and Gaggenau (and at the time Junkers gas water heaters, which now is called Bosch gas water heaters) to do repairs under warranty of their gas appliances during 2005.

During 2004, the firm was joined by Jannie Cremer (Junior), and a partnership was created.
The firm was awarded agencies from Smeg Appliances, Multibraai and Infiniti fireplaces to install and repair gas appliances under warranty. Smeg also use the firm to do minor electrical repairs.

Jannie Snr is licensed to do both Commercial and Domestic Gas Installations, and Jannie Jnr Domesitc gas installations, although in the process of acquiring the Commercial license.
The firm was converted to a Closed Corporation on 20 February 2007 under the name Gasjac CC.

During 2008 the firm spread its wings and started with the installation and maintenance of water filtration and purification systems, trading under the name Aquajac, which is a division of (the then) Gasjac CC.

Jannie Jnr opened the Knysna branch (which was served from Plettenberg Bay until then) on 1 March 2013, while Jannie Snr remained (and carried on the business) in Plettenberg Bay.
During 2018, the members of Gasjac CC decided, that since the firm no longer only did gas work, to change the registered name of the firm to JACG CC. We also had a vision of expanding even in to other lines of work.

During 2019 Jannie Jnr did a course on Solar technology with SARETEC, passed the PV Green Card assessment, (which makes him the holder of a PV Green Card), and another division of JACG CC was formed, trading under the name Solarjac.

JACGroup has branches in Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, with the Head Office in Knysna, currently at Shop 5, The Boardwalk, Waterfront Drive, Knysna.

  

  

Jannie Cremer Senior

The firm was founded by Jannie on 1 September 2001 after completing the Domestic Gas installer’s course with the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Safety Association of Southern Africa (LPGSASA). He handed the reigns of the firm over in 2011 to Jannie Jnr, but stayed actively involved in the operations of the firm, both managerial and operational.

He is currently in charge of the Plettenberg Bay branch of JACG CC and holds a Domestic and Commercial gas installation license issued by SAQCC. He also assists in delivery of gasses (both LPG and Industrial Gasses) when required.

  

Jannie Cremer Junior

Jannie joined his father in 2004 and did his domestic course with LPGSASA soon afterwards.
He took over control of the business in 2011 and build it up to a successful firm adhering very strictly to the standards of the industry (SANS 10087 (Part1)).
He currently holds a Domestic gas installers license, is in the process of obtaining his Commercial installation license and holds a PV Green Card, and is in charge of both the firm and the Knysna branch.

  

Daniël Molibeli

Daniël joined the firm in 2012 as a labourer assisting in installations.
He is currently being trained as an installer to attain his Domestic gas installers licensce and provides assistance in Plett to Jannie Snr. 

  

James Makwari

James came to the firm in August 2015, starting as assistant to Jannie Jnr.
James soon showed his keen interest in becoming a registered installer, and did his domestic course with LPGSASA and passed his theory and practicals to finally becoming a Domestic Installer in 2019.
James does most of the installation work in Knysna under the scrutiny of Jannie Jnr.

  

Wellington Makava

Wellington is the assistant to James, and joined the firm in July 2018.
He is a small man in posture, but big in his ability to work!

  

Divan Luiters

Divan joined the firm in 2021. He has subsequently acquired his dangerous goods drivers license and PdP. Divan delivers gas for the firm and assist where required. He frequently receives compliments from clients on his friendliness and willingness to be of service.

  

Shamil Nombayeka

Shamil joined the firm in 2023.  Shamil is very friendly and works super hard.  Shamil assist Divan with gas deliveries and like Divan receives frequent compliments from client for friendly and helpful service.

  

Brenda Braun

Brenda takes care of the adminstrative duties of the company. Brenda has a strong administarial background and has a great demeanour with our clients. We are thankful to have her.
